Agreed in a discussion with Apprentice DMs at Vala Club and The Dawnsaga’s M-Group Meeting recently-

An Apprentice DM shall not, without the presence, at the same scene, of the highest ranking DM in the building or nearby grounds, deliver ‘a blow’ (of any sort) which causes a player character to have HPs less than or equal to zero, or to be devoured or disintegrated or destroyed in any way, or to be placed in the direct path of aforementioned results.

A Provisional License to Kill Player Characters will now only be issued upon graduation from the Apprentice DM program and becoming an Assistant DM.

Congratulations to Alex Bell & Luke Jordan being the first successful Graduates of the Vala Club’s unique DM program. The remaining eight Apprentices have been formally invited to join the M-Group, along with Alex and Luke, for a special Dawnsaga Development part of the program. Fellow Vala Veterans and especially participants in our Extra Reward Points & Special Contracts project Shifting Sands can look forward to occasional guest appearances. As soon as Shifting Sands is better equipped we can expect an expansion of this side of things between holiday programs.
