Bring to life a gorgeous garden in clay-
trees, fountains, steps, swings…be fancy free;
the secret garden is your ideal sanctuary.
Class brainstorms famous gardens in life and mythology. Sketches and designs on paper
Use different ceramic techniques to construct the garden, coils, noodle squeezers pinch pots and, learn about strength of form and design. Contain the garden with a wall build from any of these techniques.
Populate the garden with plants and animals. Construct garden furniture, eg. ponds, seats, sculptural features etc.
Use underglazes to decorate your creations
